INIS October Style Guide: Cosy Coats & Autumn Tips

There’s something about October that just makes you want to get cosy, isn’t there? The month we can finally start layering up, wrapping up in soft knits, and digging out those timeless pieces you reach for again and again. For us at INIS, comfort isn’t just about clothes (though that’s a big part, obviously!), it’s also about the little moments and connections we share with our community, and what a community we have!

This month, we’ve got plenty to celebrate: a little look back at our shopping evening (don't worry if you missed out, we'll be hosting another one soon!), some coat inspiration for the season ahead, and an exciting update on our Peebles store relocation!

Community & Comfort: Our Shopping Evening

Our very first shopping evening was just fabulous! We won’t lie, we were a little nervous beforehand, but honestly, we needn’t have been. From the moment the doors opened, the room was buzzing with excitement - customers browsing and trying on new arrivals, sharing styling tips with each other and generally just having a lovely time.

Guests were welcomed with drinks on arrival, treated to lovely goodie bags to take home, and enjoyed a fabulous raffle with prizes kindly donated by INIS Energy of the Sea and Katie Loxton. It was so special to see familiar faces and new friends discovering INIS for the first time - lots of laughter, chatter, and that wonderful sense of community filled the evening.

A Fresh Chapter for INIS Peebles

New coats aren’t the only thing we’re looking forward to this season, we’ve also got some exciting news to share! Our Peebles store is on the move, to a beautiful prime spot right on Peebles High Street. From early November, you'll find us in what is currently Caldwell's Ice Cream.

Until then, our Northgate store is business as usual while we get everything ready for you. We can't wait to welcome you, we're so excited! Keep your eyes peeled for our official opening date!
