Hooray! It's July, the official summer holiday month of the year! Whether you’re heading off for a week in the sun, a few nights in the countryside, or just dreaming of your next escape—packing shouldn’t be a stress.

At INIS, we believe in clothes that earn their place in your suitcase (and your wardrobe). That means pieces you can wear more than once, mix and match, and still feel like you—even when you’re far from home.

Always travel in comfort and style!

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry — we’ve put together a few INIS-approved tips to help you pack light, dress well, and feel like you wherever the summer takes you.

Here goes:

1. Plan Your Outfits:

  • Consider your itinerary:

Think about the activities you'll be doing and the types of clothing you'll need.

  • Create outfit combinations:

Plan out several outfits in advance to ensure you have enough variety and to avoid overpacking.

  • Choose a colour palette:

Selecting a limited colour palette (e.g., neutrals with a pop of colour) makes it easier to mix and match items.

2. Pack Efficiently:

  • Roll your clothes:

Rolling clothes instead of folding saves space and helps prevent wrinkles.

  • Use packing cubes:

These help organise your suitcase and compress clothing, making it easier to find what you need.

  • Pack versatile items:

Choose items that can be dressed up or down, like a simple dress, a white button-down shirt, or a pair of versatile jeans.

3. Accessorise Strategically:

  • Choose versatile accessories: Scarves, jewelry, and belts can be used to elevate different outfits.

  • Pack a few statement pieces: A great scarf, necklace, or pair of earrings can instantly transform an outfit.

  • Limit your shoe choices: Shoes take up a lot of space, so choose a few versatile pairs that can be worn with multiple outfits.

Try The 333 Method:

If you’re looking for a simple, foolproof packing strategy, the 333 method might be just what you need. This minimalist approach works perfectly for a week-long holiday or any trip where you want to travel light but still have plenty of outfit options.

The 333 method, coined by content creator Rachel Spencer, is straightforward: pack three tops, three bottoms, and three pairs of shoes. Mix and match them to create at least nine different outfits—or up to 27 if you count all the shoe combinations! Of course, this theory isn't set in stone and if you happen to sneak a wee dress in there too, we're sure it won't cause any packing disasters—after all, a holiday without a just-in-case dress? Unthinkable!

So, are you ready to pack smarter and feel like you wherever you go?

Pop into INIS or browse our latest arrivals online—we’ve got the mix-and-match pieces your suitcase (and your summer) will thank you for. ✨

And don't forget to ENJOY whatever you have planned this summer, even if it doesn't involve packing a suitcase!
